Privacy Policy
FOCUS 90 holds some of the most personal things you write down: your goals, your days and your doubts. This page explains plainly what we collect and what we do with it.
1.What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password, plus your language and timezone. Your content: the goals, tasks, habits, ideas, reviews and other records you create. Technical data: a session cookie to keep you signed in and basic server logs (such as IP address and time of request) used for security and troubleshooting.
2.Where your data lives
FOCUS 90 is local-first. Your records are stored in your browser's storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) on each device you use, so the app works quickly and keeps working offline. When you're signed in, your records are also synced to our servers so they're available on your other devices.
3.How we use it
We use your data only to provide FOCUS 90: to sign you in, sync your records between devices and send the emails you ask for. We do not sell your data, show ads, or build advertising profiles. The server reads your synced records only to prepare the reminders and summaries you have turned on.
4.Email
We send account emails (verification and password reset). If you enable them, we also send reminder emails and daily or weekly summaries. You can turn optional emails off at any time in Settings.
5.Cookies and local storage
We use a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie that are required to sign in. Your browser's local storage keeps preferences such as theme and language, and your app data. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6.Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run FOCUS 90, such as hosting and email delivery, and only as needed for that purpose. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
7.Retention and deletion
You can delete your account from Settings. This permanently deletes your account and your synced data from our servers. Data stored in a browser stays on that device until you sign out or clear the site's data. Backup copies, if any, are removed on a regular schedule.
8.Security
Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted in transit and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
9.Your rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data. Export a full backup from Settings at any time, or contact us for help with any request.
10.Children
FOCUS 90 is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11.Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know by email or in the app.
